Polished, complex nose; aromas of orange pith, key lime pie, white peach, stone fruits, nut, spice, apricot danish with clotted cream. The innate generosity of the palate is tightly wound around a spine of minerality, this wine will develop superbly, gaining richness without losing its varietal identity.

From the minute you pull the cork, the aromas are deep, rich, and enticing. Black cherry fruit with notes of cinnamon, caramel, graham cracker, and vanilla. Explosive flavors match the aromas in a big, yet soft and silky blend. Flavors persist, tannins very mild, structure is solid and built to last. Made from her estate vineyards in Calistoga (except a tidbit of Cabernet Franc from Oakville). This is “one of the good ones” from the tiny crop produced in 2008 after the spring frost. While tasty now, this is a wine that is also cellar-worthy, easily 10-15 years.

A superb Cabernet-based blend that shows spicy aromas, rich flavors and a tremendous chocolatey mouthfeel. Serious enough to age well for 5+ years, but ready to be enjoyed tonight either by itself or with grilled meats.

This delicious new release features inky dark colors and a smooth & silky texture balanced out with plush, well-integrated tannins. Complex layers of opulent dark fruit flavors including blackberry jam, plum, dark cherry and espresso flavors complimented by a hint of black truffles offer a delicious experience tonight + the potential to age gracefully for the next 5 years. Bravo!

Its dark plum/ruby color is followed by a knock-out nose of blue fruit, black cherries, macerated raspberries, and blackberries. On the palate it’s sweet and broad with notes of espresso, dark fruit and cocao, with a velvety texture as well as opulence, complexity, and length.
